Description
The uterus is the organ that produces menstruation and gestation of the fetus, which is located in the center of the pelvic cavity, between the bladder and the rectum. The uterine wall is composed of three layers: serosa, muscle layer and mucous membrane (endometrium). The serosa layer is mainly composed of fibroblasts.
Rabbit uterine fibroblasts from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit uterine tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit uterine fibroblasts was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit uterine fibroblasts are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
