Description
The spleen is an important lymphoid organ with functions such as hematopoiesis, filtering blood, removing senescent blood cells and participating in immune responses. It is also an important place for lymphocytes to migrate and receive antigenic stimulation to generate immune responses and produce immune effector molecules. Spleen stromal cells are connective tissue cells that provide support and nutrition for parenchymal cells in the spleen.
Rabbit spleen stromal cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit spleen tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit spleen stromal cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit spleen stromal cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
