Description
Pulmonary macrophages form a heterogeneous population of immune cells that fulfil a variety of specialised functions, including maintenance of pulmonary homoeostasis, removal of cellular debris, immune surveillance, microbial clearance, responses to infection and the resolution of inflammation.
Rabbit pulmonary macrophages from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit lung tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit pulmonary macrophages was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit pulmonary macrophages are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD68 or MAC387. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
