Description
The periodontal ligament is composed of dense connective tissue and contains nerves, blood vessels, lymphocytes and epithelial cells. Periodontal ligament fibroblasts are the most important cells in the periodontal ligament, and their function is to participate in the synthesis and absorption of collagen, so that the collagen in the periodontal ligament can be continuously renewed.
Rabbit periodontal ligament fibroblasts from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit tooth tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit periodontal ligament fibroblasts was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit periodontal ligament fibroblasts are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin or fibronectin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
