Description
The hippocampus is a seahorse-shaped region of the brain that is responsible for learning, emotions, and memory. IT contains many types of neurons that send information to each other by releasing chemicals called neurotransmitters across junctions known as synapses.
Rabbit hippocampal neurons from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit brain tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit hippocampal neurons was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit hippocampal neurons are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to neuron specific enolase (NSE). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
