Description
The abdominal aorta is the largest artery in the abdominal cavity. As part of the aorta, it is a direct continuation of the descending aorta. Abdominal aortic endothelial cells participate in the formation of the inner wall of the aorta and are continuously subjected to shear stress from blood flow. Endothelial cells secrete various endothelial factors and influence the constriction and growth of blood vessels.
Rabbit abdominal aortic endothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit abdominal aorta tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit abdominal aortic endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit abdominal aortic endothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to PECAM-1/CD31. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
