Description
The small intestine is located in the abdomen, the upper end is connected to the stomach through the pylorus, and the lower end is connected to the large intestine through the appendix. The intestinal epithelium is composed of a single layer of columnar epithelial cells, which are curved and folded to form depressed crypts and bulging villous structures, while several crypts are clustered around a villous structure to form a crypt villus unit.
Mouse small intestinal crypt epithelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse small intestinal tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse small intestinal crypt epithelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse small intestinal crypt epithelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to pan-cytokeratin (PCK). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
