Description
The gastric wall has four layers: mucosa, submucosa, muscularis and serosa. Fibroblasts are the most common cells in connective tissue, differentiated from embryonic mesenchymal cells. One of the main functions of fibroblasts is to synthesize collagen and other extracellular matrix, and play an important role in the process of tissue and organ fibrosis.
Mouse gastric fibroblasts from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse gastric tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse gastric gibroblasts was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse gastric gibroblasts are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin or fibronectin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
