Description
The enteric nervous system is composed of nerve cells and tissue lining the gastrointestinal tract and regulates gastrointestinal function. It is similar in structure and function to the central nervous system. Neurons within the enteric nervous system are diverse, including pseudounipolar and bipolar sensory neurons, interneurons, and motor neurons, etc.
Mouse enteric neurons from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse intestinal tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse enteric neurons was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse enteric neurons are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to neuron specific enolase (NSE). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
