Description
Glial cells are widely distributed in the central nervous system, and there are about ten times the number of neurons in the central nervous system. It supports and nourishes neurons. Glial cells also have cellular bulges like neurons, but their cytoplasmic bulges do not differentiate between dendrites and axons.
Mouse brain glial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse brain tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse brain glial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse brain glial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
