Description
The working cells of the myocardium include atrial cardiomyocytes and ventricular cardiomyocytes. Atrial cardiomyocytes are essential for fluid homeostasis, ventricular filling, and survival. Atrial cardiomyocytes have a different ultrastructure compared to ventricular cardiomyocytes. They have differential gene expression patterns regarding, e.g., transcription factors, structural proteins, and ion channels.
Mouse Atrial Cardiomyocytes from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse heart tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse atrial cardiomyocytes was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse atrial cardiomyocytes are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to myosin heavy chain. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
