Description
The liver is an essential organ that has many functions in the body, including making proteins and blood clotting factors, manufacturing triglycerides and cholesterol, glycogen synthesis, and bile production. The hepatic parenchymal cells comprise approximately 78% of the liver and is primarily involved in the metabolic functions.
Rat Hepatic Parenchymal Cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat liver tissue. The method we use to isolate Rat Hepatic Parenchymal Cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The Rat Hepatic Parenchymal Cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to glucose-6-phosphatase. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.

Storage and Shipping
