Description
Damaged microvascular endothelial cells are involved in the occurrence of various diseases including trauma, infection, shock, tumor, and vascular disease. Microvascular endothelial cell junctions are closely related to vascular permeability. Microvascular endothelial cells synthesize and secrete substances such as prostacyclin, nitric oxide, endothelial-derived hyperpolarizing factor and endothelin to maintain the normal state of blood vessels.
Rat Adipose Microvascular Endothelial Cells (rAMECs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat adipose tissue. The method we use to isolate rAMECs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rAMECs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to von Willebrand factor (vWF). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
