Description
Recombinant Human Transforming Growth Factor-alpha (rHu TGF-alpha) is a polypeptide growth factor, which stimulates the proliferation of a wide range of epidermal and epithelial cells. RHu TGF-alpha has been shown to induce transformation anchorage independence in cultured cells. Human TGF-alpha is a 5.5 kDa protein containing 50 amino acid residues.

                            Formulation
The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized with no additives.
                            Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product before opening the vial. The lyophilized rHu TGF-alpha should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
                            Storage & Stability
The lyophilized rHu TGF-alpha, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated at - 20°C. Reconstituted rHu TGF-alpha should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
