Description
The spleen is an important lymphoid organ with functions such as hematopoiesis, filtering blood, removing senescent blood cells and participating in immune responses. As the largest immune organ, the spleen accounts for 25% of the total lymphoid tissue in the body. It contains a large number of lymphocytes and is the center of the body's cellular immunity and humoral immunity.
Rat Splenic Lymphocytes (rSLs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat spleen tissue. The method we use to isolate rSLs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
