Description
The conjunctiva is the membrane that lines the eyelid and loops back to cover the sclera, right up to the edge of the cornea. Conjunctival fibroblasts simultaneously synthesize and degrade the extracellular matrix (ECM) to maintain homeostasis in the conjunctiva.
Rat Conjunctival Fibroblasts from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat eye tissue. The method we use to isolate Rat Conjunctival Fibroblasts was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The Rat Conjunctival Fibroblasts are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to Desmin or vimentin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
