Description
The gastric mucosa can be divided into three layers, namely the epithelial layer, the lamina propria and the mucosal muscle layer. Among them, the epithelial layer is a single-layer columnar epithelium, arranged neatly, and can secrete mucus covering the surface of the gastric mucosa, preventing gastric acid and pepsin damage to the gastric mucosa.
Rabbit gastric mucosal epithelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit gastric tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit gastric mucosal epithelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit gastric mucosal epithelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to pan-cytokeratin (PCK) or cytokeratin-19 (CK-19). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
