QualiStem® Human IPS Cell Dopaminergic Neuron Differentiation Kit

Cat.No.
CSK-IC002
Description
The loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra is a characteristic of Parkinson’s disease (PD), a neurodegenerative disorder that affects motor function. This kit is designed for in vitro dopaminergic neuron differentiation of human IPS cells. This kit contains supplements, which are used to select and enrich neural stem cell population. Each component is performance tested to ensure generation of the correct phenotype, and the midbrain dopaminergic neurons have been functionally tested for the ability to produce spontaneous action potential and release of dopamine upon depolarization. This kit has been tested on multiple induced pluripotent stem cell lines.
