Description
The umbilical vein is a blood vessel present during fetal development that carries oxygenated blood from the placenta to the growing fetus. Umbilical vein endothelial cells are cells derived from the endothelium of veins from the umbilical cord.
Rabbit umbilical vein endothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit umbilical cord tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit umbilical vein endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit umbilical vein endothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to PECAM-1/CD31 or von Willebrand factor (vWF). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
