Description
Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) is a widely used basal medium for supporting the growth of many different mammalian cells.
Serum Reduced DMEM is a widely used basal medium that allows the culture of mammalian cells with reduced Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) supplementation. Compared to classic DMEM, serum supplementation can be reduced by 50–90% with no change in growth rate or morphology.
This DMEM Medium is modified as follows:
With:
Without: L-glutamine and HEPES
