Description
Porcine Uterine Smooth Muscle Cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from uterine tissue of Porcine. Porcine Uterine Smooth Muscle Cells are grown in T25 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution and incubated in Cell Complete Growth Medium. The cells are shipped at passage 2. Each vial contains at least 0.5x10^6 cells. The cells are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies to α-smooth muscle actin. Porcine Uterine Smooth Muscle Cells from Creative Bioarray are negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma. Q:
What is the reason why cells begin to die gradually after two generations?
A:

It is likely that the culture system is not suitable for the cells (not using the recommended culture system); or that the digestion is excessive and has a severe effect on the cells; or that the passaging ratio is inappropriate (cells that have a density-dependent nature are passaged too sparsely; or cells that are growing faster are passaged densely and the cells grow in severe stacks).
