No. Each cell line has its own specific cell culture medium that it has adapted to. Each cell line has its own specific cell culture medium that it has adapted to. If a culture medium different from the one provided is suddenly used, most of the cells will not be able to adapt to it immediately, resulting in a poor cell state and ultimately, the cells will not be able to survive.
