Cat.No.
CSC-C5004J
Description
Human hypertension aortic smooth muscle cells are isolated from the aorta of human donor that has been diagnosed with hypertension. Human hypertension aortic smooth muscle cells are grown in T25 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution for 2 min and incubated in complete growth medium generally for 3-7 days. Prior to shipping, cells at passage 1 are detached from the culture flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen. The cells are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies to α-smooth muscle actin.

Q:
Is it normal to have vacuoles in the cells?
A:

It is normal for some cells to have some vacuoles (e.g. HepG2, Ishikawa and some drug-resistant strains). If only a small number of cells have very few vacuoles, it is likely that the cell state is not good, and the cell state can be adjusted by adjusting the serum concentration, controlling digestion, and controlling the ratio and time of passaging, etc.. If most of the cells have vacuoles, and the number of vacuoles in a single cell is relatively large, it is likely to be caused by the aging of the cell, and it is necessary to change the cell with an earlier generation.

A lot of guidance

I used NGP cells in my experiments and the technicians gave a lot of guidance on the media and reagents.
