Description
Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are cells that have shed into vasculature or lymphatics from a primary tumor and are carried around the body in the circulation. Analyses of CTCs can be used for detection of cancer, prediction of prognosis in patients with disease, monitoring systemic therapies, and stratification of patients base on the detection of therapeutic targets or resistance mechanism. Use SuperBeads® Human CTC Isolation Kit (Direct) to isolate circulating tumor cells (CTCs) directly from human whole blood by immunomagnetic negative selection. The kit depletes other kinds of cells. The negatively isolated Human CTC are left in the sample and have not been touched with the SuperBeads.
