Description
CD138 / Syndecan-1, is a transmembrane, heparin sulphate proteoglycan which is made up of one core protein and five glycosaminoglycans. CD138 is expected to play a role in cell adhesion, cell proliferation, cell migration and cell-matrix interactions via its receptor for extracellular matrix proteins. Use SuperBeads® Human CD138 Cell Isolation Kit to enrich purified CD138+ (syndecan-1) cells from fresh or previously frozen human bone marrow or peripheral blood mononuclear cells (MNCs) by immunomagnetic positive selection. It may also be used for the depletion of CD138+ cells. The positively isolated Human CD138 Cells are are labeled with antibodies and magnetic SuperBeads.
