Description
The spleen is an important lymphoid organ with functions such as hematopoiesis, filtering blood, removing senescent blood cells and participating in immune responses. Previous studies have suggested that endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) derived from the spleen have the potential to be incorporated into injured areas and differentiate into endothelial cells (ECs), thereby contributing to the improvement of endothelial function.
Rat Spleen Derived Endothelial Progenitor Cells (rSdEPCs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat spleen tissue. The method we use to isolate rSdEPCs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rSdEPCs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 or CD34. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
