Description
Endothelial progenitor cells are the precursor cells of vascular endothelial cells. Under the stimulation of physiological or pathological factors, they can transfer from bone marrow to peripheral blood to participate in the repair of damaged blood vessels. Endothelial progenitor cells can further proliferate and differentiate into naive endothelial cells.
Rat Endothelial Progenitor Cells (rEPCs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat bone marrow tissue. The method we use to isolate rEPCs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rEPCs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 or CD34.
