Description
The endometrium is composed of mucosal epithelium, glands, stroma, and blood vessels. It is the target tissue of ovarian hormones and plays an important role in reproductive physiology research. Endometrial stromal cells (ESCs) are the main supportive cell type that underlies endometrial surface epithelium and surrounds glands. The establishment of in vitro models of endometrial cells is an important means to study the pathogenesis of endometrial diseases.
Rat Endometrial Stromal Cells (rESCs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat uterine tissue. The method we use to isolate rESCs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rESCs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
