Description
The great saphenous vein is the largest vein of the human body. It is also known as the long saphenous vein. The great saphenous vein starts from the medial marginal vein of foot, runs superficially along the length of the lower limb, to finally empty into the femoral vein. The endothelial cell layer is a natural barrier to blood and other tissues. Endothelial cells secrete antithrombotic factors such as t-PA and PAI-1. After being regulated by TNF-α, it secretes cytokine GM-CSF, expresses ICAM-1 surface antibody, and produces nitric oxide and endothelin.
Rabbit great saphenous vein endothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit great saphenous vein tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit great saphenous vein endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit great saphenous vein endothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to PECAM-1/CD31 or von Willebrand factor (vWF). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.

Storage and Shipping
