P04085.1
Synonymous Name
PDGF-AA, Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Subunit A homodimer, PDGF1

Activity
Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 for PDGF-AA, as measured in a cell proliferation assay using NR6R-3T3 mouse fibroblast cells (Raines, E.W. et al. (1985) Methods Enzymol. 109:749), is typically between 50 and 200 ng/mL in a fluorometric assay using the redox-sensitive dye, Resazurin.
Endotoxin Level
<0.10 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile 1x PBS pH 7.4 containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA) of less than 0.2 mg/mL. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
Usage
This GMP product can be for research use or further manufacturing use.(NOT FOR HUMAN USE)
Storage
Store lyophilized cytokine at -20°C to -80°C.
