Activity
Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED₅₀, as determined by its ability to induce BMP responsive SEAP reporter activity in HEK293 human embryonic kidney cells, is 3 - 21 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Level
<0.10 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile 4 mM HCl containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA) of less than 0.2 mg/mL. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
