Formulation
Recombinant human IL-2 is lyophilized from a sterile 0.2 μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA containing bovine serum albumin.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute human IL-2 with sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human serum albumin or bovine serum albumin to prepare a stock solution of 10 ?g/mL of the cytokine.
Storage & Stability
Lyophilized human IL-2 is stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted human IL-2 can be stored under sterile conditions at 2°C - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C to -70°C (in a manual defrost freezer) for three months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
