Description
The ovary is not only the organ for egg production, growth and maturation, but also one of the target organs of gonadotropin secreted by the anterior pituitary gland. The ovarian iterstitium, that can support follicular growth and development, is primarily composed of ovarian stromal cells.
Mouse ovarian stromal cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse ovarian tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse ovarian stromal cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse ovarian stromal cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cholesterol side-chain cleavage enzyme (P450scc). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
