Description
Recombinant Murine JE (rMu JE), also known as macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein or CCL2, belongs to the CC chemokine family, which plays an important role in the inflammatory response and chemoattraction of various immune cells, such as monocytes, activated T cells, basophils, NK cells, and immature dendritic cells. Recombinant Murine JE is a 13.8 kDa protein containing 125 amino acid residues.

                            Activity
rMu JE is fully biologically active when compared to a standard. The biological activity of murine JE was determined by a chemotaxis assay using Balb/C mouse spleen MNCs. The concentration range for this effect was 1.0-20.0 ng/ml.
                            Endotoxin Level
                                Less than 1 EU/μg.
                            Formulation
White (freeze-dried) powder. The sterile-filtered protein solution was lyophilized with no additives.
                            Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening the vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
                            Storage & Stability
The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted JE should be used immediately or stored long-term in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
