Description
Recombinant Human Interleukin-6 for cell culture (rHu IL-6 CC) is a 21 kDa protein containing 184 amino acid residues. RHu IL-6 CC is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor, which affects B- Lymphocytes, T-Lymphocytes and hybridoma cells. It will also affect cytotoxic T-cells in combination with other factors such as IL-2 and Interferon-gamma.

Formulation
Lyophilized from DMEM/F12 (HSA as stabilizer).
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product before opening the vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted with 2 ml of sterile, distilled water. For further dilution carrier protein should be added to avoid loss of bioactivity.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted rHu IL-6 CC should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C for future use. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
