Cat.No.
CSC-I9316L
Description
Immortalized Human Annulus Fibrosus Sheet Cells were derived from healthy disc materials from patients and were immortalized via retroviral transduction carrying the SV40LTAg and hTERT genes. The cells retained its primary phenotype and express the COL1A1, COL5A1, COL12A1 and SFRP-2 markers. It is able to form sheets, unlike the Immortalized Human Annulus Fibrosus Non-Sheet Cells. The Immortalized Human Annulus Fibrosus Sheet Cells may be used to study the formation of cell sheets, and insight on the biology of the annulus fibrosus and disc pathology.
