Description
The endometrial layer is the target tissue for ovarian hormonal action and the site of fetal-maternal contact, and its stromal cells undergo morphological and biological changes during the estrous cycle and pregnancy.
The endometrium consists of 2 layers, a single layer of columnar epithelium and the lamina propria. The connective tissue cells of the lamina propria are mainly endometrial stromal cells, which are fibroblasts.
Rat Endometrial Stromal Cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat uterine tissue. The method we use to isolate Rat Endometrial Stromal Cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The Rat Endometrial Stromal Cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
