Hybrid generated by fusion of 6-thioguanine-resistant mutant of mouse neuroblastoma N4TG3 and 8-bromodeoxyuridine-resistant mutant of mouse L cell fibroblast line B82 using inactivated Sendai virus. The fusion of N4TG3 x B82 generated two types of hybrid cells: neuronal resembling the neuroblastoma and epithelioid with clearly visible nucleus. 328/11 is of the neuronal type.
Tissue of Origin
DMEM + 2 mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) + HAT (0.1 mM hypoxanthine, 10 µM aminopterin and 16 µM thymidine) Cells can be cultured without HAT provided they were cultured in between in HT medium for 3-4 days
