Q:
What is the difference between suspension and adherent cells?
A:

In biologics, two techniques of growing cells in culture can be distinguished: adherent and suspension. In adherent cell culture, cells are grown while attached to a substrate as monolayers. In suspension cell culture, cells are free-floating in the culture medium.
