Description
Immortalized Mouse Floxed Fam20c Dental Papillar Mesenchymal Cells are a reliable tool to study odontoblasts and the roles in formation, mineralization and repair of dentin. The cells are a precursor and can be differentiated into odonoblasts for further study. They carry the floxed Fam20c allele which allows further manipulation on exon 6-9 by Cre recombinase to obtain null Fam20c allele cells. Fam20c expresses the FAM20C kinase which has been associated with bone-related diseases due to mineralization dysfunction. The Immortalized Mouse Floxed Fam20c Dental Papillar Mesenchymal Cells can be expandedin vitrofor research on the field of mineralization disorders.
