The Gemcitabine-resistant cell line ASPC-1/GEM has been developed by repeatedly exposing the parent ASPC-1 cell line to Gemcitabine. To retain its resistance, Gemcitabine must be continuously added to the culture medium.

Storage and Shipping
Creative Bioarray ships frozen cells on dry ice. On receipt, immediately transfer frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C) until ready for experimental use. Never can cells be kept at -20 °C.
