Description
Established from the ascitic fluid of a rat with a tumor which was produced by injecting cultured cells of a chemically-induced (dimethylbenzanthracene) mammary tumor; rat: strain Sprague-Dawley, female, 240 days old, adult; the original tumor was induced by single feeding of DMBA on day 45 after birth; sister cell line of HH-16 cl. 4; cells were described to produce invasive fibrocarcinomas in S.D. rats upon s.c. injection with remote metastases
