Description
Lysosomes are monolayer-membrane acidic organelles containing a variety of enzymes. They can decompose all kinds of biological materials. VitalTracker® Red Lysosome Dye from Creative Bioarray is a red fluorescent dye for living cells, which can be detected using the red Cy3 channel. The dye enhances fluorescence dramatically in acidic environments. Therefore, it is suitable for staining the acidic organelles such as lysosome and late endosome selectively. The dyes accumulate in the low pH environment of the lysosomes, resulting in highly specific lysosomal staining.
