Description
Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, is the principal molecule for storing and transferring energy in cells. Mitochondria produce the majority of cells ATP in eukaryotic cells. Cellular adenosine ATP, which is localized to mitochondria, can be used to detect metabolic activity and cell proliferation. VitalTracker® ATP Red Live Cell Dye is a red fluorescent dye for mitochondria localized ATP in living cells. The dye specifically targets ATP and shows no cross reactivity to other analytes.
