SuperQuick® Mini-Ames Assay Kit (5 strains) is a compact version of the standard Genotoxicity Ames Kit, optimized for initial mutagenicity screening. It utilizes five nutrient-deficient indicator strains-TA97a, TA98, TA100, TA1535, and WP2uvrA pKM101—to detect mutagenic activity by monitoring changes in colony numbers. By employing 6-well plates instead of traditional Petri dishes, the kit offers a more efficient, space-saving alternative for rapid and cost-effective screening of potential mutagens.
