Description
SuperQuick® Ames Strain Identification Kit (5 strains) is specifically designed for use with commonly utilized Ames tester strains. It can be used alongside the Genotoxicity Ames Kit to verify key genetic markers, including histidine/tryptophan auxotrophy, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) barrier defects, resistance to benzylpenicillin (R-factor), resistance to tetracycline, and deficiencies in ultraviolet (uvrB) DNA repair. This ensures that the strains meet the necessary criteria for reliable performance in the Ames test.
