SuperQuick® Ames Assay Kit (WP2uvrA/pKM101 strain) employs a nutrient-deficient Escherichia coli strain WP2uvrA (pKM101) as the indicator organism to evaluate the mutagenic potential of test substances. The assay detects point and frameshift mutations by monitoring changes in colony formation.
