Description
SuperQuick® Ames Assay Kit (TA98 strain) utilizes a nutrient-deficient Salmonella typhimurium TA98 strain as the indicator organism to assess the mutagenic potential of test substances. The assay detects point mutations and frameshift mutations by measuring changes in the number of bacterial colonies.
