SuperQuick® Ames Assay Kit (5 strains, pre-coated dishes) utilizes nutrient-deficient Salmonella typhimurium strains TA97a, TA98, TA100, TA1535, and Escherichia coli WP2uvrA (pKM101) as indicator organisms. This assay assesses the mutagenic potential of test substances by detecting point and frameshift mutations through changes in bacterial colony counts.
