The EML4-ALK Fusion/Translocation FISH probe is designed to detect rearrangements between the human EML4 and ALK genes, both located on the short arm of chromosome 2. The probe is constructed to recognize translocations involving ALK and EML4 such as the EML4-ALK fusions found in a subset of NSCLC cases.
